World War II is over and it is time to celebrate. German U-boats have slipped beneath the waves of the Florida coast, never to be seen again. Thousands of servicemen and women spent time in Palm Beach because of World War II, and many would return after the war and bringing their sweethearts. The 1940 pre-war population of Palm Beach County, nearly 80,000, would grow 50% by 1950 and escalate quickly from there.
Prosperity has returned to Palm Beach and you are invited!
My Dear Friends,
Hosted at the very height of the Palm Beach social season, the accommodations for this luxury weekend are provided at a 5-star hotel on the island of Palm Beach. Complimentary tickets to the yacht show along with VIP access are just the beginning. Breakfast will be served with flutes of champagne and spicy Bloody Mary's so you can start the day with the right yachting mindset. Evening cocktail receptions, wonderful dinners on the town, and a smattering of yachts and equestrian events are all part of the equation including a 1940's themed, swing party with double platinum recording artists the Cherry Poppin Daddies.
If you would like an invitation just simply click on the Request Invite button and, as always, if you have any questions, or would like something customized especially for you, please indicate your wishes in the additional info portion of the form.
